Hill of Wool

Exploring the concept of memory, this collection of poetry delves into the remembrances that live and grow within families as well as those that are inspired by rediscovered children's songs and stories. The featured verse demonstrates how some recollections are triggered by chance encounters with old boyfriends, some are personal and lyrical, and others are as strange as untamed rhymes. Touching on aspects of everyday life--cooking, coffee, and the patterns of the seasons and holidays--this anthology weaves other meanings, resonances, and wisdom within them, from the challenges of raising children to finding one's way through life.
