Issun Boshi

Issun Bôshi, the classic Japanese fairy tale of the tiny, brave boy, returns in a new edition and format. After years of wishing for a child, an elderly couple is blessed with a son no taller than an inch. Armed with a needle as his sword, a bowl as his boat, and a chopstick as his oar, Issun Bôshi sets out to find his place in the world. In a series of adventures, he proves that courage matters more than size--and, as in every true fairy tale, he wins the princess in the end.
