Seven Curious Ants

Classic meets modern in this dazzling illustrated storybook about friendship and home. By the artist whose debut picture book, The Tiger Who Would Be King, was named a New York Times/New York Public Library Best Illustrated Children's Book.

On the day the 200,501st ant is born in a crowded anthill, seven adventurous ants decide it's time to find a new home--one with more space and more light, less work and more play. Together they set off through the woods in search of the perfect spot. One by one, they each find a place that seems just right--but is it?

Drawing upon her skills as a printmaker, JooHee Yoon has created a classic adventure story--a tiny quest with big themes of friendship and home that will stand the test of time.

MESMERIZING ARTWORK: Colorful, textured illustrations are filled with detail that young readers will pore over again and again.

CLASSIC IN THE MAKING: The visual verve of Eric Carle meets the modern fairy tale feel of The Little Wooden Robot and the Log Princess in this engrossing storybook destined to be passed from one generation to the next.
