A new party drug ‘rage’ threatens to ravage the streets of Auckland. In a city panicked by the drug’s rise, Farr Paddock, a reclusive hunchback, is driven into hiding by threats of violence over his obsession with Tegan Goldacre, a rising starlet with ruthless instincts and a talent for reinvention.

Demonised as a ‛rage-fuelled monster’ and with no one he can trust, Paddock’s life hangs by a thread.

Zoo Noise skewers celebrity culture, influencer power and the crowd’s hunger for outrage. Fusing theatre, crime and satire, it dives towards a reckoning as savage as it is absurd.
